Job description
We are looking to hire an experienced senior software developer to lead solutions for new and existing projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of software systems. We are seeking a senior engineer with expertise in designing and implementing modern data architecture solutions, specifically focusing on data warehouse and data mesh implementations. You will be expected to be a significant contributor to application development, sprint planning, and providing guidance on best practices and architecture within new and existing systems. This role will be crucial in advancing our analytics capabilities and establishing scalable data infrastructure.
To ensure success as a senior software developer, you should have the ability to lead teams, have an in-depth knowledge of programming languages, and outstanding project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of data warehouse solutions and / or data mesh architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
- Drive the evolution of our data platform by implementing best practices in data modeling, ETL / ELT processes, and data governance
- Meeting with senior leadership to recommend product direction and align technical objectives to the overall company vision.
- Lead and manage projects / features as an individual or with a team, managing deadlines and customer expectations.
- Provide supervision and guidance to other members of the team.
- Fosters discussion and examination of practices by the whole team.
- Creating technical documents for new software systems
