Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for the following:
Project Manager
- Overseeing each project from pre-construction through completion, ensuring timely delivery and profitability
- Creating and maintaining the master schedule for all assigned projects
- Coordinating with engineers and architects, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to allow for timely and simple execution of construction projects
- Conducting constructability reviews, identifying potential issues early in the project lifecycle
Client Relationship
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, field crews, and management
- Manage client expectations and communicate project progress effectively
- Negotiate and process change orders
Field Team Leader
- Supervise and develop field crews, creating great culture
- Collaborate closely with Estimating and Management Team
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations
Budgeting & Profitability Monitoring
- Contribute to project estimating and budgeting processes
- Monitor project costs and maintain profitability
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Quality Control
- Ensure all work meets company standards
- Oversee project close-out procedures and punch lists
- Ensure compliance with building codes
- Implement and maintain quality control processes
Qualifications
- 5 Years of experience in construction project management, to include scheduling, client management, RFIs and Submittals, change order management, project accounting, and close out.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other specifications to ensure projects are being built to design.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and OSHA regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work both in the office and from job sites as needed. Most of our projects are in Northern Colorado and the Denver Metropolitan Area.
It'd be awesome, if you also have:
- Your OSHA 10 or 30 certification or are willing to obtain it
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with BuilderTrend
- Experience building and/or managing residential, light civil, structural repair, and commercial tenant finish/tenant improvement projects.
