Pay :
Local : $73 / Hourly
Travel : 40 hr : $3,005
48 hr : $3,437
27 / hour $1,925 weekly stipend
Contract Duration : 13
Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technician to join our healthcare team. The Mammography Tech will be responsible for performing mammograms (X-ray imaging of the breast) to assist in the early detection of breast cancer. The ideal candidate will have experience in breast imaging, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care and safety.
Responsibilities :
- Perform high-quality mammograms in accordance with clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal mammographic images.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed, including patient records and imaging reports.
- Prepare and explain the procedure to patients, providing a comforting and supportive environment.
- Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
- Follow strict safety and infection control procedures to ensure patient and technician safety.
