Unarmed Security Guard

Job description:

Level One Protection, Inc. is hiring professional unarmed security guard to join our team. Members of this team will work at one of our locations in the city of Dana Point.

During interviews, potential employees will be asked to bring all credentials and availability. Position provides an essential role in providing exceptional service to our clients and communities. Our officers are hired to help maintain safety protocols while staying vigilant during patrols and securing our clients assets. Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Must be able to write reports
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be punctual
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Capably utilize scheduling software to produce reports (such as Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
• Must be versatile and able to pivot in new directions when post details are updated
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Duties

• Monitor surveillance equipment
• Respond to emergencies and alarms promptly
• Enforce property regulations and safety precautions
• Conduct security checks and inspections
• Provide a visible presence to prevent illegal actions
• Complete detailed reports on incidents and observations
• Interaction with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public
• Enforce Contract Standards
• Enforces Level One Protection’s policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos

Job Types:

Full Time:

Monday- Friday 6:00am-2:00pm

Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm

Monday- Friday 10pm-6:00am

Part-Time:

Saturday & Sunday 6:00am-2:00pm

Saturday & Sunday 2:00pm-10:00pm

Saturday & Sunday 10pm-6:00am

On-Call:

Available to pick up shifts as needed

Salary:

$22- $24 per hour
