Foreman Position in High-End Residential Projects
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead high-end residential projects in the Bay Area.
This is a unique opportunity for a skilled carpenter to take on a leadership role and grow into a Superintendent position with our company, TCB Universal.
About the Role:
- Safety and Quality: Ensure work is performed safely, in accordance with plans and specifications, and in compliance with local building codes and Cal-OSHA regulations.
- Leadership: Partner with subcontractors and crew members to achieve project goals, and oversee material deliveries to ensure timely completion.
- Carpentry Skills: Perform advanced carpentry tasks, including reading plans and performing layout, and taking ownership of material use to minimize waste.
- Communication: Represent the company if the Superintendent is not on site, and partner with the Superintendent on daily schedules and project progress.
Requirements:
- 6 years of residential carpentry experience; frame to finish
- Advanced construction math skills
- Knowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in residential and commercial construction
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, active listening, and team-building skills
