Level Recruiting is seeking skilled Carpenters for work with high-end custom home contractors. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry techniques and possess a strong attention to detail. Experience : At least seven years of carpentry experience preferred and meet all skills listed in the Preferably experience in high-end residential construction. Expectations : ? Communicate effectively and interface with project team ? Strong problem solving-skills; responsibly address issues and problems as they arise ? Make informed decisions ? Comprehensive carpentry skills ? Ability to understand the overall scope of the job and plan ahead ? Ability to interpret the design teams intent and provide positive feedback towards solution ? Read and comprehend structural, architectural and shop drawings ? Knowledge of broader trades (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.) Responsibilities (top five functions) : ? Ensure overall jobsite cleanliness and safety ? Assist project superintendent with site logistics, schedule and supervision of subcontractors ? Layout, line, level, datum, and quality control ? Mentor Carpenters, Trainee Carpenters and Laborers ? Other duties as assigned Skills (regular tasks) : ? Teach, supervise, and set tasks for Carpenters, Trainee Carpenters and Laborers ? Achieve 3-Week Look Ahead ? Conduct regular safety meetings ? Manage employees and subcontractors ? Review shop drawings and work for quality and accuracy ? Complete advanced carpentry tasks ? Sign, accurately code, and submit field invoices for billing
