Construction Laborer /Job Site Helper
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Construction Helpert to support our high-end residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of the construction process, from preparing job sites to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing the job site at the start of each project, ensuring the area is clean, organized, and ready for work.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the duration of the project, ensuring the site remains orderly and free from debris.
Work closely with subcontractors to confirm they have all the necessary materials and tools to complete their work.
Monitor their progress and ensure they follow safety protocols and maintain quality standards.
Assist with checking in deliveries to ensure all materials are accurate and delivered on time. Report any discrepancies or missing items to the project manager.
Assist with minor punch-out duties, including cleaning up the job site and addressing small finishing tasks.
Help identify and resolve issues to maintain high-quality standards on the project.
Assist the team with construction-related tasks as needed, including but not limited to framing, drywall, carpentry, and finishing work. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and support all facets of the project.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in residential construction is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for material runs. (Truck preferred)
Ability to lift and move heavy materials Bilingual English / Spanish a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
Compensation:
$17.00 - $20.00 an hour based on experience Full Time A flexible work environment with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
