We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing. The Concrete Finisher will work closely with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications.
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Operate concrete mixers and pumps effectively to ensure quality results.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the pouring and finishing processes.
- Apply finishing touches such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces.
- Restore damaged concrete surfaces as needed, ensuring a seamless appearance.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site.
- Assist in estimating material quantities needed for projects.
Skills
- Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques and tools.
- Experience with concrete mixing and pumping operations.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of drywall installation may be beneficial for certain projects.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
