What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Program Instructor position at Level UP Enrichment?
Do you love working with kids? Are you looking for a part-time job that fits your schedule? WE NEED YOU to inspire kids through our after-school programs.
Level UP offers a variety of classes that balance academic learning with life-skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and communication. We are looking for instructors who can not only teach our kiddos about the world, but how they can succeed within it :-)
Programs we offer:
Chess
Escape Room
Sports and Dance
Art ( a NEW Origami program)
Science and Engineering
LEGO Stop Motion
Magic & Illusions
A Day on the Job
Our programs usually take place from 2:00 - 4:30, making it an ideal job for morning workers, night workers, retirees, and students. You will travel to assigned elementary schools (grades TK-5th) close to you and teach our programs for an hour and a half.
The curriculum is pre-written and materials are provided for you, so the only thing you'll need to bring is enthusiasm!
Qualifications
- A ROCKSTAR attitude, especially around students K-6
- A passion for working with children
- Reliable vehicle and cellphone
- Availability between 3:00pm-4:30pm on weekdays
- Ability to pass a background check upon hiring
Bonus Skills
- Experience assisting/teaching in a classroom
- Interest in Child Development and Psychology
