Job Description: As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients with loan applications and ensuring that they receive the best possible financial solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs, and guide them through the loan process from start to finish. In this role, you will also build relationships with clients and referral partners to grow your business.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all clients throughout the loan process.
- Achieve sales and referral goals through proactive business development efforts, including maintaining and expanding your client base.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships by providing personalized advice and offering suitable loan options to meet their needs.
- Maximize personal productivity and stay self-motivated to meet and exceed individual production goals.
- Evaluate loan applications by assessing creditworthiness, income, financial statements, and other key data.
- Guide clients through the entire loan process, explaining loan options and helping them select the best solution.
- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure loans comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, changes in lending regulations, and company policies to provide accurate guidance.
- Build relationships with real estate agents, builders, financial planners, and other stakeholders to expand your network and referral sources.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially when evaluating risk and determining loan eligibility.
Qualifications:
- Licensed or non-licensed Loan Officers: No prior licensing is required; we will assist with the licensing process for motivated individuals.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Self-driven with a strong desire to succeed and build a career in the financial services industry.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
