Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in various educational settings, particularly with ages 7 and up. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development and effective behavior management techniques. The Instructor will be responsible for creating engaging lessons that incorporate elements of theater, piano/accompaniment if needed, contemporary, and pop voice, and other creative activities to foster a love for learning among students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Utilize behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including but not limited to theater, dance, and sewing.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Monitor student progress and provide individualized support as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and progress.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills.
Requirements
- Experience working with students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies.
- Experience or interest in teaching subjects such as voice, piano, and theater.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 15 per week
