Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and child family counseling, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. As a CADC, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-10 and ICD-9 standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and promote behavioral health.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience in child family counseling or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in behavioral health practices, including diagnostic evaluation and psychotherapy techniques.
- Familiarity with medical records management and coding systems (ICD-10, ICD-9).
- Experience in social work or related disciplines is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
