We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while managing transactions accurately and efficiently. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience and maintaining the flow of operations at the register.
Retail Sales Associate Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist with various functions and activities as instructed by the team leader
- Answer customer questions about available products
- Meet customer needs by assisting as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Execute and expedite point of sale transactions
- Articulate current promotional events
- Upsell products to best meet customer needs
- Maintain well organized product displays
- Convert customer interactions into successful sales
- Process transactions at the point of sale
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals
- Maintain a working knowledge of current offerings
Retail Sales Associate Job Requirements:
- A positive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Drive to set and achieve targeted goals
- Prior sales experience, retail preferred
- Demonstrated communication skills
- The willingness to follow up with customers
- Experience and desire to work with technology
- Must be capable of lifting objects up to fifteen pounds
- Reliable transportation to Cincinnati, OH
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
