About the Role:
We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Residence Inn Bend OR. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will help ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. You will assist the Director of Housekeeping in supervising a team of Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants, and Housepersons, and ensure they are trained and equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests. Your main goal will be to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy during their stay!
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping operations
- 1 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hotel property management systems
- Experience with using Microsoft Office applications and basic computer use
- (Bilingual in English and Tagalog/Spanish applicants are encouraged to apply!)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist in training housekeeping staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests
- Inspect & assist in cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained up to Marriott standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle any other duties assigned as requested by the Director of Housekeeping
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
- Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
- Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
