Responsibilities
- Utilize exploratory testing techniques to test new features and bug fixes.
- Design and implement test plans - using your knowledge of the development life cycle and test methodologies to design efficient test coverage.
- In an Agile environment, collaborate with developers to continuously improve testing strategies and best practices.
- Focus on early bug detection, working with developers to apply requirements analysis and the refining of acceptance criteria.
- Work in a small, very collaborative environment where processes may be fluid.
- Actively participate with a growing team as the company expands.
- Help extend QA tool set, including some work with automation strategies.
Required
- 3 years as a QA engineer in software organizations.
- Experience designing software testing strategies at a tech company.
- Highly developed software troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Excellent bug reporting ability and experience with bug tracking systems.
- Prior experience with QA automation tools.
Preferred
- Salesforce platform experience.
- Experience working with SaaS products and companies.
- Experience with complex, data-driven B2B products.
- Prior experience querying (SQL, SOQL, etc) relational databases.
- Prior programming experience is a plus.
- Experience in an Agile environment.
