Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher (Grades 6-8)
Qualifications:
Certified Texas Teacher or enrolled in an approved Texas Teacher Preparation Program.
Passion for student success and academic achievement.
Strong classroom management and instructional strategies.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $1,500 above the state base.
STAAR-Based Performance Pay: Earn up to $4,500 based on student success.
Content Stipend: Additional $2,500 for Math & ELA teachers.
Insurance: $333 per month district contribution toward health insurance.
Work Schedule: 158 staff workdays (4-day school week).
Retention Bonus: Paid at Christmas!
