What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Facility Manager position at Levi Storage Center?
Alpha Storage Advisors is looking to fill an Assistant Facility Manager position at our self-storage facility and U-Haul dealership located in Fayetteville, AR.
This position is hourly starting at $16. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
To apply, you must be available to work Monday-Friday and Saturday/Sunday hours as needed. You must have a valid Drivers License with a clean driving history, reliable transportation, and be able to pass both a drug test and background check.
The hours for the locations are 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday, 9am – 2pm on Saturday and 9am - 12pm on Sunday. We are looking for someone who can work afternoon hours and alternate weekends as needed.
We are closed for major holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years in a sales related position.
Strength in the following skillsets is required; computer skills, Microsoft Office, selling skills, phone skills, customer service and people skills, management, communication, email.
This position requires a sales focus to convert leads to leases, excellent customer service skills, the ability to generate collections from calls to past due tenants, the ability to take ownership of the business and work in a Team environment.
A professional appearance is also required.
You will assist in the management of a premier self-storage facility. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in real estate and property management. Self-storage is one of the best performing asset classes in the past 25 years and is a very strong industry. We will train you on processes that will incorporate the skill sets you already have and we will build out remaining skills to put you on a path to success in this position and future jobs.
Position requires outside work as you will be responsible for property checks, sweeping units, cleaning the facility as needed and picking up trash. Other job responsibilities include light maintenance tasks, converting sales leads and phone calls into unit leases and U-Haul rentals, providing outstanding customer service to current and potential tenants, answering phone calls and returning emails promptly, securing facility after shifts, basic knowledge of units, pricing, and our operating system. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This is not strictly a customer service job, there is a lot of moving, so you will be on your feet even when working the office. There will be "hooking up & unhooking" trailers. Being able to multi-task is important. A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE and reliable transportation is required.
