About the role
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the recruitment process, administering employee programs and events, assisting with performance management and employee programs including employee benefits and provide internal and external communication and job share overall office responsibilities with the HR Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the recruitment process including job postings, resume review, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters, and entire onboarding process.
- Work with hiring managers to recruit and staffing agencies for temporary employee placement.
- Assists in administering transfers, promotions, performance counseling, terminations and exit interviews.
- Ensuring compliance with company policy and applicable law.
- Assists with performance management process.
- Complete daily staffing and monthly turnover reports and submit to upper management for review
- Coordinate and manage employee events.
- Oversee office administrative functions as required.
- Administer the employee Tuition Reimbursement and Referral Bonus programs, working with employees, managers, and payroll.
- Update the Employee Handbook accordingly and communicate changes to all employees. Recommend new policies and procedures.
- Submit EEO-1 Reports.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Work with Corporate Human Resources and facility management team to implement employee programs and policies.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong sense of urgency and multi-task
- Ability to organize self and prioritize tasks
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to present information in Excel and PPT
- Prior experience with HR software, such as iCIMS, Kronos and PeopleSoft is preferred
- Working knowledge of federal and state labor laws
- Must be able to act with integrity, maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent in business or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ prior experience in a Human Resources office environment

Pay Range
$60,000 - $70,000 per year
