About the role
Responsible for the accurate validation of transactions processed for internal and external requests. In addition to enforcing company order management, claims and pricing policies.
Responsibilities
- Mainly responsible for accurate processing of customer orders via optical character recognition software
- Validate customer ordering details such as; purchase order number, sold to account number, shipping address, shipping date, pricing, part numbers, quantities, special instructions
- Manual processing and material allocation of priority orders
- Perform software sweeps to identify priority orders during daily rush hours
- Escalate optical character recognition issues to management
- Determine and recommend customers who are candidates for processing improvements
- Enforces Leviton special pricing policies and pro-actively identify areas of disconnect/process failure within our pricing system
- Collaborate with customers, internal disciplines and management to resolve order interruptions and execute requests
- Assist with additional projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and multiple functions/levels within the organization
- Must have general knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
- Ability to perform at a high level of accuracy
- Must have a strong sense of urgency with priorities
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent, college preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in data validation, supply chain, claims or related field
- Experience with Oracle ERP and OCR technology preferred
