Overview :
Serves customers by installing and servicing systems and products. Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
Responsibilities :
- Maintains equipment by completing installation of components and devices
- Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; plan daily travel schedule; investigate complaints, and conduct maintenance tests
- Receive work requests; study diagrams, drawings and specifications; test systems and components; determine cause of problems and requirements to solve problems
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
- Maintains organized and accurate inventory levels of install equipment and merchandise
- Plan for upcoming field jobs; keep tools and test equipment complete
- Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
- Fault isolating and troubleshooting
- Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements
- Manage competing priorities in a complex environment
- Use appropriate security and safety procedures
- Additional duties as assigned
