About the role
This position is responsible for operating industrial equipment that produces components, subassemblies and assembled finished goods across various processes in a safe, clean and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Loads materials and products into packaging equipment; verifying compliance to specifications
- Assembles components to produce subassemblies on manual assembly machines; verifying compliance to specifications
- Assembles finished goods on final assembly machines; verifying compliance to specifications
- Documents production and quality records on specified forms
- Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products using marking tools
- Obtains, moves, sorts, reworks, packs and seals products / containers using hand tools
- May be required to transfer palleted material within the production area using a manual pallet jack
- Cleans work areas using basic cleaning materials
- Performs other duties as assigned
