Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS technology.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for commercial driving may be advantageous.
