As the exclusive onsite food & beverage (F&B) partner at the Harley-Davidson Museum, Levy is responsible for managing and operating the F&B operations, which include MOTOR Bar & Restaurant, concessions, and paid private events through 1903 Events.

Job Summary
Working within a collaborative, highly cross-functional team environment, the 1903 Event Manager with Levy at the Harley-Davidson Museum is an important team leader in planning and delivering exceptional and memorable client and event guest experiences that will last a lifetime.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Proactive and responsive communication and planning with internal team, client, and vendors, to ensure smooth and successful event and positive client and guest experience leading up to, during, and post event.
- Participate in and hosts client site visits and walk throughs.
- Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional team and external sources to learn about and upsell event enhancement offerings to event clients.
- Partnering with management and event stakeholders to develop clear and detailed event and floor plans to ensure a successful event.
- Manage event communication to appropriate stakeholders including, but not limited to, event files for use by operations, schedule of events, and final Banquet Event Orders (BEO).
- Preparation and active participation in management and weekly Event Venue Planning and BEO meetings with operations and culinary to ensure alignment of event expectations.
- Vendor coordination – scheduling load in and load out times for all external vendors.
- Main on-site point of contact for clients and vendors proactively working to understand and manage client expectations leading up to and during event.
- Collaborate with banquet management to ensure a high level of operational satisfaction on behalf of the client to include assisting in an operational capacity as needed.
- AV set-up and on-site assistance with client – point of contact to assure a smooth operation.
- Analyze event trends and client needs to enhance overall event experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- 2 years in a client facing and event coordination and execution role
- Hospitality or Business Degree preferred but not required
- Experience working on planning and executing major events (corporate, weddings, social receptions, education, galas, etc.)
- Team leadership, mentoring, and coaching
- High level of computer literacy to include Microsoft Office tools
- Proficiency or familiarity with event management software tools such as Infor Reserv a plus
- Passion for hospitality, food and customer satisfaction
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
