Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our Premium team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operations of a premium food and beverage department and performs a variety of duties while providing a pleasant guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Staff Management - Manages premium food and beverage operations, while assisting team members and maintaining a safe environment throughout operating hours. Supervising, scheduling, training, and guiding staff to ensure they are attentive, friendly, and courteous.
Guest Service Providing an excellent food and beverage experience for guests, handling complaints tactfully, greets, directs, and responds to guests questions and needs.
Policies and Procedures - Understands and recommend food and beverage menu offerings, presentation, and pricing. Have a clear understanding of food and beverage policies, procedures, and standards.
Stock Control Taking responsibility for stock control, reporting, and returning sub-standard items, and completing a monthly equipment and stock take. Follows cash handling policies and food safety / sanitation guidelines.
Service Delivery - Regularly reviewing service delivery, coordinating service for accurate serving time and proper temperature, checking table settings.
Other Duties - Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of (1) year of Supervisory experience.
- Minimum of (3) years of Food and Beverage, Hotel / Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience.
- Valid TABC and Food Handler's or state approved certifications.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally. Strong problem-solving skills.
