Job Summary

Summary : Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is being provided. Located across the street from Wrigley Field are the Wrigley Rooftops. We are one of the most unique professional sports experiences in the country. Up to 200 guests can enjoy an all-inclusive food buffet and bar service, including beer, wine, soft drinks, and water at one of our 11 multi-level club spaces. Each venue offers a unique vantage point of the field as well as rooftop seating to comfortably enjoy the game. This is a seasonal position based specifically around Chicago Cubs home games and special events at Wrigley Field. This position is part of a Tip Pool.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Preparation and cooking of all menu items effectively, consistently, and in accordance with the fire times and delivery times given for each game.
Strong attention to creating and maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment.
Ensures all food is cooked and held at the proper temperatures by recording temps in the Temp Log.
Strict following of par guides given for each game to ensure that waste is minimized.
Communicates effectively with the entire team of each building on stocking menu items to prevent lapse in food delivery between buildings.
Works side by side with the Front of House team to ensure food safety, keeping accurate stock of menu items.
Ending your shift by working with the Front of House to clean dishes from both your Kitchen / Grill station and Food Line.
Cleaning and maintenance of all equipment. This includes daily breakdown of grills, checking equipment for repairs to be reported, storing and rotation of food in accordance with health codes and FIFO (first in, first out).

Additional Requirements :

Able to communicate effectively with management team, guests, and team members by speaking and comprehending English.

English reading and writing.

Ability to taste and evaluate food.

Stamina to work 30 hours or more per week.

Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates.

Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts.

Follow all uniform and appearance guidelines as befitting the image of the restaurant for the duration of the shift.

Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts, and strains.

Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout the shift.

Must be able to work in different environments (rain, shine, cold, and hot weather)
