As a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with the Levy Group of Companies, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mobile equipment, slag processing plants, and conveying systems at our Fulton Mill Services location in Delta, OH.
Job Description:
- Operate heavy mobile equipment such as front-end loaders to feed the plant
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in equipment and machinery
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor plant performance and adjust settings as needed to achieve optimal production levels
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to minimize risks and hazards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanical aptitude preferred
