Job Summary
As leader in the hospitality industry, Levy is seeking a Venue Technology Specialist to join our team. This position will primarily support Crypto.com Arena but may support other venues in the Los Angeles area as needed. The Venue Technology Specialist will support the Point-of-Sale system in addition to other technology systems. This is a part-time, hourly position based on event schedules, with some non-event days as needed.
Ensuring all systems are working properly and efficiently is critical to the success of our overall operations. We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, knowledge and understanding of the role technology plays in our industry; who is obsessed with solving problems and thrives in a fast-paced environment; who desires to learn quickly and grow their career.
This position will report to the Area Technology Manager.
Long Description
Day in the Life ( includes, but not limited to) :
- Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of products to maintain full operational status
- Ensure point of sale and other supporting systems are ready for each event
- Prioritize and respond to event day support calls
- Troubleshoot device connectivity and other issues
- Install, move or replace hardware as needed
- Assist in the implementation of system installations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Communicate issues and resolution progress to relevant location parties as needed
- Prioritize issues and escalate to Area Manager or Regional Management as necessary
- Document all technical issues with troubleshooting steps and status or resolution
- Provide an event recap after each event including issues and status
- Other tasks as assigned
