Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and evidenced based approaches. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health disorders, crisis management, and effective communication skills to foster a supportive environment for clients.
Responsibilities
Provide Intake Assessments for Children, Adolescents and Adults
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities
- Assess client needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a hospital setting to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Engage in crisis management strategies to support clients
- Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic practices and outcomes.
- Provide counseling services that may include child family counseling, parenting skills, educational support, and community outreach presentations
- Facilitate workshops or support groups focused on mental health awareness and coping strategies.
Experience
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience working in a clinical setting with knowledge of crisis management techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and clinical research practices is advantageous.
- Previous experience in child family counseling or specialized therapeutic approaches such as dance therapy is a plus.
- Knowledge of evidenced based behavioral health interventions with Adults, and children.
