Lewis & Clark County is hiring a Water Quality Specialist. Under direction of the Water Quality Protection District Program Supervisor, this position performs water quality and water supply sampling and community outreach.
Program Mission
Our mission is to preserve, protect, and improve water quality and quantity within the boundaries of the district. We collect and analyze stream and groundwater data by conducting investigations on local water issues to assist with making informed water decisions.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education an experience equivalent to a four (4) year degree in geology, hydrology, hydrogeology, or environmental sciences and one (1) year of experience in the field in of hydrology, hydrogeology, or environmental sciences preferred.
Salary : $1,200
