What are the responsibilities and job description for the ARPA PROGRAM AND GRANTS SPECIALIST position at Lewis and Clark County?
The Lewis and Clark County Grants and Purchasing Department is looking for a ARPA Program and Grants Specialist to join their team. Under general direction of the Grants and Procurement Director, this position coordinates and administers grants and contracts associated with the County, and specifically the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and other federal, state, and private grant programs relevant to Lewis and Clark County.
This position is a part-time position working 24 hours a week. The schedule is flexible but will require at least three days in the office a week. This position has guaranteed funding through the end of calendar year 2026. Beyond December 2026 continuation of this position is dependent on funding.
The Grants and Purchasing Department supports county departments in their grant and purchasing activities. Grant staff keeps tabs on the needs of the community and county and helps secure grant funding to make sure the county is better able to address those needs. Purchasing staff support county procurement and purchasing activities as defined by the County's Purchasing Policy.
