Position Title : Political Engagement Organizer

Reports to : Director of the Center for Social and Community Involvement
Hours per week : 5-8
Pay Rate : $16.00 / hour
Department Vision :
The Center for Social Change and Community Involvement offers a number of programs to prepare Lewis & Clark undergraduate students to engage impactfully, both locally and globally, in order to bring about active citizenship and social change.
PURPOSE :
The Political Engagement Organizer will coordinate events, voter registration / education campaigns, and activities to increase democratic participation among LC students. The Political Engagement Organizer will collaborate with on campus partners such as clubs, athletics, and campus living, to encourage intentional engagement in local, national and international political issues. This position will also collaborate with off campus partners to host educational workshops and build a volunteer base at LC related to promoting democracy and encouraging civic engagement.
