Measurement Technician

Overview

Lewis Energy Group is looking for a highly motivated Measurement Technician I to join our midstream team.  The Measurement Technician I installs, maintains, operates and ensures accuracy of all-natural gas and/or liquid measurement and control facilities.  They will also be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Builds antenna tower; digs holes, mixes cement, installs communication equipment, at pre-determined locations.
• Installs power, programs equipment and lays communication wires between meter and well head.
• Stations electronic equipment at wellhead to measure pressures and program and calibrate equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience to include the following:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; climb or balance and taste or smell.
• The employee may occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. 
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme heat; explosives; risk of radiation and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
