Description
The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor position participates in the effective and efficient operations of the Operational Service Center. The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor will provide leadership and management to the entire field staff to ensure that the Company’s policies, procedures, and core values are maintained. This position is also responsible to execute field assignments within the Company’s four service lines: Remediation, Waste Transportation, Industrial Maintenance, and Emergency Response. The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor manages field personnel and equipment to efficiently conduct planned projects and emergencies on a daily basis.
Requirements
Essential Functions
- Leads Field staff to perform Environmental Contracting Services per company standard of operations while demonstrating commitment to general teamwork in support of all aspects of daily activities to ensure the profitability and sustained growth of the corporation.
- Focuses on the safety of Lewis staff at all times through proper safe practices, training, and enforcement of the company’s safety policy.
- Provides oversight, evaluation and delegation of field tasks to foremen, drivers, equipment operators, and field technicians maximizing the utilization of Lewis owned resources and equipment when applicable; ensure proper use and maintenance of all assigned equipment.
- Quality control and quality assurance responsibilities to ensure projects are conducted in an efficient safe manner and within regulatory guidelines.
- Assist the local Operations Manager and direct reports with conducting feedback sessions and performance reviews of all field staff.
- Enforcement of the standards of conduct as defined in the company handbook.
- Sets the standard for disciplinary action; works with local Operations Manager and Field Supervisors on following the discipline matrix for the field staff.
- Assist the local Operations Manager in organizing and conducting quarterly field employee meetings to maintain good communication and promote leadership.
- Performs Site Safety Audits on projects.
- Assist local Operations Manager with conducting job interviews for new candidates.
- Performs pre-job/bid site walks with project managers, estimators, or sales representatives as necessary to ensure projects are bid and managed efficiently; provides assistance with putting together proposals and estimates with the project management department.
- Properly and thoroughly complete daily notes and company required paperwork, which includes obtaining a customer signature on daily time and material sheets.
- Continued development of personal accreditations including field sampling procedures, hazardous materials handling, CDL endorsements and tank handling certifications for appropriate states and activity as well as other specialties as identified by management.
- Safeguard confidential, sensitive or privileged information.

Salary : $25 - $27
