As a Lewis Automotive Group Wash Bay Specialist, you'll find the opportunities, resources, and support you need to grow and develop professionally. Our dealership is concerned with more than moving inventory; we are committed to your success and invested in your future.
As a Lewis Automotive Group Wash Bay Specialist, you will be responsible for washing/cleaning/preparing all cars for delivery to the dealership lot or to the customer.
About the Role: Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for presentation on the dealership lot; detail clean delivered vehicles.
- Detail clean vehicles brought to the Wash Bay for customer delivery.
- Maintaining organized, clean workspace
- Account for dealership and personal tools at all times.
- Monitor the lot and pick up trash, identify safety issues, empty trach receptacles and alert management when equipment/inventory is out of place.
- Report when equipment needs to be repaired or replaced or maintained.
- Check in with Dealership management periodically throughout the day to ensure lot maintenance and cleanliness expectations are met.
- Empty Wash Bay trash daily
- Wash, dry and fold towels daily
- Demonstrating behaviors consistent with Employers' values in all interactions.
The Ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Able to work at a swift pace to detail clean automobiles brought to the Wash Bay
- Automobile detail cleaning experience.
- Desire to work in a covered Wash Bay in all seasons of weather.
- Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays off.
In addition, the ideal candidate must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Meet background, motor vehicle and drug screen requirements.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
