The Lewis Group of Companies, one of the largest real estate developers and property management companies in the nation has an immediate opening for an experienced Accountant to join the General Ledger / Cash Management team at the corporate office in Upland, CA.
Join our growing team in Accounting: Reporting to an Accounting Supervisor, some of the duties in your new career will include:
- Prepare month-end general ledger
- Close journal entries and supporting reconciliations.
- Responsible for all notes receivable transactions.
- Review, reconcile, and report on intercompany fees and political contributions
- Backup for notes payable transactions and the cash management desk.
- Other reporting as needed.
To be successful, you should have 2 years of accounting experience in a high-volume environment, (Accounting degree or similar is a plus).
Other skills to help you succeed:
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of corporate and regional employees.
- Experience with TM1 or another database program is a plus.
- Experience with Blackline reconciliation software is a plus.
