Lewis Apartment Communities seeks an experienced Business Manager for Homecoming at Eastvale, a large, upscale, 738-home community in Eastvale, CA. Partnering with the community's Community Director, you will effectively co-manage property operations and staff management programs to maintain optimum occupancy levels, income, staff supervision, property value, community maintenance, and excellent customer service at your community.
Lewis Apartment Communities seeks an experienced Business Manager for Homecoming at Eastvale, a large, upscale, 738-home community in Eastvale, CA. Partnering with the community's Community Director, you will effectively co-manage property operations and staff management programs to maintain optimum occupancy levels, income, staff supervision, property value, community maintenance, and excellent customer service at your community.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assistant management of the Leasing, Maintenance, and Groundskeeping staff
- Community budgets, payments, reports, and bookkeeping
- Vendor administration and management
- Assisting the General Manager with the hiring, motivating, monitoring, and rewarding of community employees
- Ensuring and promoting consistent resident satisfaction
- Assisting with special community projects, as needed.
To be successful, your background should include:
- 3 or more years of experience in residential property management, preferably mid-to large-scale apartment communities.
- Previous experience supervising, leading, and mentoring staff is preferred.
- Previous experience in apartment leasing, managing, and/or administering property payments and budgets, and basic bookkeeping.
- A basic understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing is required.
- Administering, reviewing, and managing outside vendor accounts is highly preferred.
- Basic MS Office skills, including MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel, are required.
Other details: work hours are 9am-6pm, with days off on Friday/Saturday.
