What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor (Del Mar) position at Lewis Group of Companies?
Lewis Apartment Communities currently seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for Del Mar, a beautiful 550-home community in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
The right candidate should have a proven supervisory background along with previous skills in all aspects of general residential maintenance including: - Management of Maintenance and Grounds staff
- Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc) installation and repair
- Making ready units for new occupancy
- Interaction with your community manager and staff
- Walking property with the community manager
- Maintaining units of current residents
- Managing/negotiating with outside vendors
- Maintaining the leasing office, your community's workshop, and all recreation facilities
- Note: For operating electric golf carts in CA, a valid driver’s license is required.
Other requirements include:- Moving and transporting heavy objects, as needed
- Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
- Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
- Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English.
YOUR SALARY & PERKS: Hourly salary for this role is $33 /hour depending on experience, plus an annual bonus and annual raise eligibility. You will also receive $700 worth of tools to do your job, including uniforms, training, and more.
