Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a 4th Grade Teacher at Palmer Lake Elementary School beginning for the remiander of the 2024-2025 school year. Must have, or be eligible to receive a current Colorado license with appropriate endorsement requirements. Must have a solid foundation in literacy and a genuine understanding of the developmental needs of elementary school students. Preference for experience with Everyday Math curriculum. Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 16 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 16, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $42,250-$68,685 (this amount may increase slightly once the 2024-25 school year budget is approved) . This is an INR (Intent Not to Rehire) position.
Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
