Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a full time Spanish teacher at Palmer Ridge High School beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. Must have or be eligible to receive a current Colorado teaching license with K-12 Spanish endorsement, or have a Colorado teaching license with a minimum of 24 credit hours in the Spanish language content area. Must be a fluent speaker of the Spanish language with the understanding, appreciation and knowledge of the Spanish culture. Experience or knowledge of Total Physical Response Storytelling (TPRS) approach. The opportunity to coach athletics and/or sponsor clubs and student activities is also available. The start date for teachers is August 1, 2025. The position is open until filled.
Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 16 years of previous contractual teaching
experience for a placement of Step 17, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,000-$71,866. The current teacher pay
