Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a middle school special education paraprofessional for 2025-2026 school year. This person must be willing and able to empower middle school aged students in a highly structured program and setting, including students in general education settings when appropriate and safe in small group activities, following educational support plans for students and collecting necessary data. This position will be open until filled. This is a full time position, working on all student contact days plus three professional development days determined by the principal. The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.15-$20.71 depending on previous experience. A higher starting wage rate may be granted to applicants who hold one of the following: a current Colorado educator's license, bachelor’s degree, RBT certification, CNA license or RMA/CMA certificate. This position is full time, 7.5 hrs per day, and is eligible for benefits. The start date for this position is August 12, 2025. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans.
