Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for temporary summer Groundskeepers to assist in the department. Must be willing and able to work during the summer months; May, June, July and August. Must be a reliable employee, able to be at work every day unless there is a scheduled family vacation planned. Must also be a regular full time high school or college student. This position is very physical and may work in extreme weather conditions. Must be willing and able to begin work at 6:30am. For safety reasons, wearing long pants and steel-toed shoes may be required attire at the students own expense. This position pays $17.35, which may be increased for working consecutive years in this position. All employees over the age of 18 are fingerprinted at the employees own expense.05/19/2025
All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance. Lewis-Palmer does provide one plan that is of no cost to the individual. However, employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans.
