Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pest control. This role involves providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Pest Control Technician will utilize various tools and equipment to perform services efficiently and effectively. After being trained you will also be eligible to earn additional commission for new sales. This is a route/production-based position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Apply pest control products safely and effectively according to established guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and customer interactions.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and the importance of regular maintenance.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control methods, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control, lawn care, or landscape management is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose pest-related issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and providing education on pest management.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and work in a drug-free workplace
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certification related to pest control practices.
