We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team at Lewis Trailer Sales in Saucier/Gulfport, MS. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a proven track record in retail sales. Experience in the Powersports, Marine, or Automobile business is preferred. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience, ensuring they receive exceptional service while effectively promoting our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to drive sales.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Stay up-to-date on current promotions, sales, and store policies to assist customers effectively.
- Use retail math skills to manage inventory and assist with stock replenishment.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain store standards by keeping the sales floor organized and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in the Powersports, Marine, or Auto business is preferred.
- Previous experience in a retail environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and another language (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic math skills essential for managing transactions and inventory.
- Computer proficiency (ability to use point-of-sale systems, inventory software, and basic office programs).
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques and phone etiquette is highly desirable.
- A proactive attitude toward learning new products and services is important for success in this role.
