Job Description Summary | Adjunct faculty to teach on-ground or on-line graduate courses in the Aviation & Transportation Department. Flexibility in the scheduling of class hours, including evenings, delivery methods, etc. |

Responsibilities | Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University Mission, Catholic, and Lasallian higher education. -Teach one or more classes in the Aviation & Transportation Department -Advise graduate students on program progression and on capstone and thesis projects -Supervise and mentor aviation graduate assistants on aviation and aerospace projects, research, and initiatives -Conduct research and pursue funding opportunities and scholarship activities at the graduate level -Required to gain Lewis University certification and online training utilizing the Blackboard technology delivery system |
Minimum Qualifications | Master's degree in aviation or related field with aviation industry experience and scholarly research |
Preferred Qualifications | Doctoral degree in aviation or related field with aviation industry experience and scholarly research. FAA certifications. |
