Housing Compliance Administrator - Upland, CA
The Lewis Group of Companies, one of the largest privately-owned real estate developers in the nation, is actively seeking a Housing Compliance Administrator for its fast-growing portfolio of California apartment communities.
Under the direction of the Housing Compliance Manager, the Housing Compliance Administrator is responsible for providing support and maintaining resident compliance for all housing assistance programs, including BOND and HUD voucher programs.
Some of your responsibilities will include :
- Support Housing Compliance Manager and on-site management on subject matter for all housing compliance programs, including BOND, and HUD voucher programs (Section 8, VASH, Bond, affordable).
- Respond to customer service phone calls and emails.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with BOND and HUD yearly rent updates.
- Support the on-site management with re-certifications if needed and compliance-related initiatives.
- Determine eligibility for assistance and occupancy in accordance with program guidelines
- Assist on-site staff with certifying applicants / tenants as required per BOND and / or HUD voucher program guidelines.
- Perform file, rent payment, and ledger audit.
- Maintain accurate up-to-date records for compliance-related documentation or reporting.
- Review files for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with income verification, household composition, and other program requirements.
- Investigate and resolve issues with payment discrepancies from HUD agencies as necessary.
- Facilitate all housing assistance programs and HUD-mandated property inspections.
- Aid with the intake of Help Desk tickets.
- Various other duties to support Housing Compliance Manager and on-site management as needed

ADDITIONAL INFO : Personal vehicle and valid license and auto insurance are required (mileage is compensated) for visiting Lewis communities. This is a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm position.
