We are seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at LewisGale Hospital Alleghany, a 204-bed acute care facility in Low Moor, Virginia. As a respiratory therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary and Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy and hold current certification as a Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT).
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions, communicate verbally and in writing, and participate in continuing education and learning to enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills for continued competence.
- Frequently move/lift up to 80 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform duties using proper body mechanics.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and consistent attendance is required.
