Job Summary:
Under the direction of a Nursing Clinical Coordinator or Department Director, you will be responsible for demonstrating accountability for essential clinical knowledge to positively affect patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice while assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating care.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong and accurate clinical judgment and competent or expert nursing skills.
- Document effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy.
- Incorporate time management and prioritize for efficiency and productivity.
- Follow LGHP process for dispensing of medications and narcotic control and employ clinical judgment related to medication administration.
- Delegate only those tasks for which you believe the other health team member has the knowledge and skill to perform.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse with Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree.
