Certification Details BLS VA License Job Requirements Must have Med / Surg or PCU experience Preferred Rehab experience Schedule Information 12 hr shifts Every other weekend Unit Specific Information Number of Beds : 35 Patient Ratios : 5-7 : 1 Techs per census, usually 2-4 Type of equipment : Vitals machine, Baxter IV pumps, SCD’s, Bladder scanner Documentation system : Meditech Floating policy : may be floated to other Med Surg depts. Patient Experience requirements : Rehab experience preferred Procedures performed on unit : Med administration to include IV’s, PICC, PEG tube admin; Bladder scans, Trach care, Tube feeding, Foley cath, Bladder irrigation, Blood Administration Dress Code : Navy blue or white solid scrubs Awards / Recognition : Tour of Easy Street - REDACTED Additional Details Opportunity to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to include Nursing, Physical therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech therapy, Physiatrist and Physician Assistant, and Neuropsychologist to impact patient functional improvements and achieve patient goals for functional independence.
