Our hematology/oncology practice seeks an additional physician to join our team of physicians in Roanoke, Virginia. Our practice is highly patient-centered on every level - all staff is dedicated to seeing our patients successfully through treatment. As part of the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network at LewisGale Regional Health System, we are focused on providing personalized care with the latest treatment options.

As part of the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network at LewisGale Regional Health System, we are focused on providing personalized care with the latest treatment options.
Qualified candidates:
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- Join a busy, hospital-employed practice
- Primarily solid tumor practice with some hematology patients
- Be part of a comprehensive team of hematology/oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and surgical oncologists
- 1:3 call coverage
- Comprehensive world-class cancer care
- 3-year Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited program
- 20-chair infusion center and full radiation center
- Physician-led program with Governance Board
- Weekly multidisciplinary conferences, also known as Tumor Board meetings
- Multidisciplinary team of specialists including oncology dietitians, genetic counselors, and three oncology-specialized nurse navigators
- Palliative care and hospice programs
- LewisGale Medical Center is a 506-bed fully accredited medical/surgical facility
- Level II Trauma Center
- We perform highly complex, high-acuity surgeries for cancers of the brain, pancreas, liver, and lungs
- LewisGale Medical Center is one of four HCA hospitals within Southwest Virginia. In addition, LewisGale Regional Health System includes two cancer centers, six outpatient centers, and three free-standing emergency rooms.
