Position Title: Elementary School Principal
Location: Lewiston School District
Independent School District No. 1 is seeking a highly visible, passionate, student-centered and supportive elementary principal who values collaboration to successfully lead an elementary school team that is deeply invested in their school and community. Together with the school team, this position will strive toward establishing an environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth of every student and narrows the opportunities and achievement gaps for our most underserved students. Knowledge and experience with Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Response to Intervention (RTI) procedures, trauma informed practices, best practices around social emotional learning, and K-5 curriculum and instruction are essential. The successful candidate will be open to continue supporting teachers with the educational process including analyzing data to inform instruction, leading the RTI process as part of the shared leadership model, and leveraging the strengths of staff to advance student achievement.

Required Qualifications:
•Possess an Administrator Certificate endorsed for Pre K-12 Principal or have the ability to obtain within a reasonable period of time after hire.
•Evidence of leadership, administrative and supervisory skills or abilities.
•Demonstrated ability to implement a vision for the continuance and growth of the integration of mobile technology.
•Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Fingerprint/criminal justice clearance.
